The engineer who decided to try

Before entering e-commerce, I was an electrical engineer. I lived and worked in Spain and Turkey, and at some point I decided to build something of my own — with no background in marketing and no ad budget.

What happened in the first year

In March 2024, I launched an online store to sell a Turkish product internationally, relying entirely on social media content to reach customers.

First month: around $30K in revenue. First year: around $250K in revenue and $120K net profit. Around 40 million views and 70K followers — all without paid ads.

The most important thing I learned

The real skill was not in the product or in building the store. It was in building a clear bridge between what you have and the people who want to buy — by clarifying the offer, understanding who the right customer is, and creating content that reaches them and turns their interest into actual orders.

This is not theory. This is what worked for me from real experience.
